I guess you could say this outfit sums up my style pretty well. My blog name is pretty self explanatory, but I've always been a big lover of all things vintage or vintage style. Back in the day, my dad was a punk and my mum was a rocker and a hippy (I'm actually jealous at how cool they both used to be! Me on the other hand, 1D and Mcfly lover.. not so cool). Anyway, I guess without realising they've had some kind of influence over me and the way I dress. You pick up a lot from your parents right? I've never been the barbie doll type, I've never been a particularly girly dresser and I rarely wear tight revealing clothes because that's just not me. 

Like everyone, I get influenced by fashion and my style does change from time to time. I've spoke a lot recently about my love for monochrome, so yes I will wear stuff that isn't necessarily as true to my style as other outfits but you know what, I'm gonna wear them anyway because I like them. Fashion aside, I believe that deep down everyone has their own individual style, whether they realise it or not. As much as I like experimenting with different trends, I always find myself drifting back to the style that I feel most comfortable in. Something that's more me, like the outfit above.

I love the slouchy fit of this dress teamed with my favourite scarf that I've had for years! I love these boots so much I can't help but wear them in the summer because they literally go with everything! Although note to self: wear socks with them next time (sweaty feet - ew!)
