2 outfits for the price of 1! I may have got a bit carried away putting tartan inspired outfits together with my new jeans, oops! I'm a bit late to the 'Mom' jean trend but I bought them on a complete whim the other day when I met my mum in Nottingham for lunch. I hate my old pair of Topshop 'Leigh' jeans, they literally make my bum look SO big (I mean it is, but sometimes bums need disguising ha!) I was hoping that the Topshop 'Joni' jeans would be the way forward but the problem with my big bum remained. I JUST WANT A FLATTERING PAIR OF JEANS GOD DAMMIT. As a last resort, I picked up a pair of 'Mom' jeans after reading on several blogs that they're flattering on curvier figures. I'm not a blue jean person at all so I went for the black! After a bit of persuasion from my mum, (I'll admit they're quite hard to get used to at first!) I decided to buy them. Tight skinny jeans definitely DO NOT suit me and I feel so much better now I've accepted that. The baggy 80's style of the jeans are definitely more flattering on my bum and because they don't cling to it, it automatically looks smaller. As much as I wish I could wear skinny jeans, I know they don't suit me. I'm only a size 10 but I'm aware of my body and what I can and can't wear. The 'Mom' jeans have really grown on me since I bought them and hopefully I'll get a lot of wear out of them this winter!
