I haven't been shopping since before the new year (I KNOW RIGHT) so I took some time off from essay writing yesterday to let off some steam and treat myself to some retail therapy. I've wanted this Topshop boutique dress for AGES but at £90 I just couldn't do it. It was completely sold out everywhere but last week I went online, clicked 'check in store' and there was ONE SIZE 10 left at my local store in Nottingham. Fate?! I think so! I tried it on and I just had to get it. It's so pretty and delicate and will be perfect for the summer. When you calculate the cost per wear, I know it's going to be completely worth it in the long run! As for the purse, I definitely didn't need one but at £3 how could I say no? It's got that whole silver/holographic vibe going on that I love (even though it looks gold in these photos)!
Next on my shopping list was Lush's 'cosmetic warrior' face mask that everyone on youtube has been raving about. It's basically a spot treatment that is meant to be amazing for the skin and get rid of any blemishes that you have. My skin isn't terrible but I still get the odd spot every now and again so I wanted to see if it works. It's also meant to make your skin glow which is the main reason I purchased it. My skin is quite dull and lifeless so I really hope it gives me a nice natural glow! I also got a tester of the 'ocean salt' face exfoliator which is also meant to be amazing for spot prone skin.
I can't tell you how happy I am that I now have a local Urban Outfitters in my life! It really upsets me that everything is so expensive because I honestly want everything. I was so tempted to get a white blouse from there but it was £40 which is absolutely ridiculous. So as you can imagine I was completely shocked to find a t-shirt for £25 (cheap for UO standards)! I don't know why I love it so much but I just do. You can't go wrong with slouchy stripes in my opinion.
As for the bra and knicker set, it could easily pass for a set from Topshop. I'm a sucker for a vintage pattern and it was only £5 so I couldn't help myself. You can never have too many bras!
Love the dress! Xx Mind checking out my blog??
