Liebster Award

I was over the moon to find out I had been nominated for the Liebster Award the other day by not 1, not 2, not 3 BUT 4 BLOGGERS! Thank you girls!

The Liebster Award is basically for new bloggers with less than 200 followers and is a really good way to discover new blogs and to get to know people a bit better.


The Rules

1. Each person posts 11 facts about themselves
2. You then answer the questions that your nominator has set for you, and then create 11 questions for the people you've tagged to answer.
3. Chose new bloggers and tag them in your post
4. Inform them on their blogs that they've been tagged.
5. You can't tag the person that tagged you for the award.


The Facts

I was born in Northern Ireland, lived in Essex til I was 5 but have lived in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire ever since.
I'm an only child.
 
I'm obsessed with musicals. I've seen Chicago, West Side Story, Dirty Dancing, Little Shop Of Horrors, The Rocky Horror Show and Ghost but Wicked is my favourite! I'm also seeing Hairspray in the summer.
 
I've always wanted to be a dancer or an interior designer but I ended up studying history because it was the sensible option.

I'm the worlds biggest dog lover. I will literally ball my eyes out if a dog dies in a film.
 
I've had a massive urge this year to travel the world. I'm hopefully going to Germany in the summer to look around museums for my final year at uni. I also hope to travel around America and Canada in the next couple of years.
 
I've drank tea every day since I was 14. If I go a day without tea, I get a migraine.
 
I had VERY, VERY long hair up until a month ago when the hairdresser accidently cut it too short. I was devastated.

I'm obsessed with Demi Lovato and Alexa Chung.

My favourite tv programme is 90210.


Mutsa's questions

1. What is your favourite movie?
Pearl Harbor. It's been my favourite film since I was about 10 and is one of  the reasons why I wanted to study military history at uni.

2. If you could eat one food item forever what would it be?
Pizza!

3. Why/When did you start blogging?
I think I started back in 2011 but I never really stuck to it. I started a fresh this month because it's something I've always wanted to do because I enjoy reading other people's blogs so much.

4. Which pair of shoes is on your wishlist?
I don't have one, I pretty much live out of my Converse.

5. Your biggest pet peeve?When people aren't as friendly as I am. Really irritates me how rude people can be.

6. Do you play an instrument, if not what would you like to learn?
I used to play the recorder (coolest instrument ever, NOT). I'd love to play the acoustic guitar though. Or the piano. Or maybe the violin.

7. Your dream career?
Dancer/interior designer/event manager/journalist. I have way too many interests.

8. Your signature perfume scent?
Calvin Klein - Obsession

9. Where is your favourite place to be and why?
At home with my mum and dad. I miss them so much when I'm at uni.

10. Describe your style in 3 words.
I get told I'm quite a quirky dresser, I'm not a very girly dresser and I wear a lot of black. So I guess I'll say quirky, black and boyish?

11.  A cosmetic item you couldn't live without?
Foundation

1. How would you describe yourself in one word?
Smiley?
 
2. How would you describe your blog in one word?
Pretty haha
 
3. What do you like to do to relax?
Dark room, fairy lights on, candles lit, music on, looking through blogs. This is pretty much what I do every night.
 
4. What's your favourite beauty product?
I'm not into beauty products at all (I'm such a bloke) so I'm just gonna say foundation.
 
5. How often do you wear make-up?
Every day
 
6. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would they be?
ooh I'm gonna be really sad and say either Mcfly or One Direction. How embarrassing.
 
7. What's your biggest ambition?
To get a 2.1 in my degree and to have a successful job in the future that I'm happy in.
 
8. Do your emotions effect the way you dress and do your make-up?
I do my make-up the same every single day, I don't even change it for a night out. But I suppose if I feel like crap or  if I'm feeling lazy, I won't make as much effort with what I'm wearing so I'll automatically look more boring.
 
9. Morning bird or a night owl?
Definitely night owl!
 
10. Do you prefer looks or personality in a boy/girl? (if you had to choose!)
I know it sounds really cliche but personality is so much more important. There's nothing worse than a boring person.
 
11. What's the craziest thing you have ever done?
Ahh it's one of those questions that you can never think of an answer to! I'm just gonna be boring and say I parade around in my bra whilst swinging my top in the air every wednesday when the song Baywatch comes on in one of my favourite clubs. Pretty standard.

1. One thing you cant live without?
My mum & dad

2. One clothing item you can't live without?
Hard to say but probably my black blouse with the leather collar seeing as I wear it with pretty much everything.

3. Someone who has made a huge difference in your life?
I dunno, my best friend?

4: How many Piercings/ Tattoos (if any) do you have, or want?
I have my ears pierced twice but I'm also thinking of getting a ring in the top of my ear. I've wanted a wrist tattoo for years too but I know I'll regret it when I get married/job hunting etc. so I don't think it will ever happen

5: Longest time spent in a single place at one time?
I went to Tanzania for 10 days, does that count?

6: Favorite food?
Pizza.

7: What do you think your shoes say about you?
Haha erm... when I'm wearing my converse I suppose they might suggest that I'm pretty casual?

8: Favorite scent?
I have a few but at the moment it's probably By Night - Christina Aguilera.

9: Your go to hairstyle?
My hairstyle never changes, I always wear it down.

10: One bad habit you have?
Biting my nails

11: Something that is always with you at all times?

Toss up between polka dots, velvet and leather.

Alexa Chung.

3. Who is your celebrity crush?
Zayn Malik (gay I know but have you seen him?)

Genuinely don't even know what brand I wear.

5. Last thing you bought?
Dominos Pizza.

6. Night in or Night out?
Depends what mood I'm in but we'll go with night out!

7. Where is  your dream holiday destination?
So many places I wanna visit but for a typical holiday destination... Sydney!

8. Favourite Film?

Topshop obv.

10. If you could only choose one for the rest of your life... Eye products or Lip Products?
Eye products.

Something smart/casual like tights or black skinnys, a blouse, leather jacket, satchel and my creepers.
