Does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?

I've been thinking of something different to post instead of the typical fashion posts and it suddenly came to me today.. why not do a travel post! I know these things can be boring sometimes but I've been doing a lot of research recently and I thought I'd share with you lovely people some of the countries I'm planning on visiting in the near future.

 GERMANY

Being the massive history geek that I am, I've been dying to visit Germany for years so I can look around all of the war museums and memorials etc. I'm doing my dissertation on Germany in WWII so it's the perfect excuse for me to go this summer to give me motivation to start my research early! Most of the museums are in Berlin so that's where I've decided to go.. AND it's the capital city so hey why not. I'm so fascinated with their culture too. I can't wait to stroll around in the sun eating spicy sausage and drinking german beer, just cause I can. I haven't officially planned anything yet but I'm 100% going this summer. Watch this space!

CANADA

I don't know what it is about Canada that I love so much but it's always been my dream place to visit. My mum and dad went to Toronto and Niagra Falls when I was about 10 and they absolutely loved it. My dad had a job interview and we were gonna move there but they changed their minds because it was too big. Even so, they said it was 10x better than America because the people were so lovely and it's just such an interesting place. When I was on holiday one year, me and my best friend met 2 brothers from Quebec (the french part of Canada) and my mind was completely blown. A province the size of the UK.. in Canada.. COMPLETELY french? Wow! It's pretty expensive because of the long distance flight etc. but my aim one day is to visit Toronto, Montreal and take a maid of the mist boat trip in Niagara Falls! My mum keeps hinting that we're going to Canada for my 21st (omggggg) so fingers crossed!!

USA

Obviously. Who doesn't wanna go to America? I went to New York in 2001 but I can't really remember it because I was so young. Apart from that, I've never actually experienced the big US. Until a few months ago, I'll admit I wasn't too fussed about the place. Then suddenly the whole Camp America hype started and I jumped straight on the bandwagon. I was in two minds about applying until I realised that I didn't actually wanna work with kids all summer - I just wanted to do the travelling bit afterwards! I decided against it until I came across this thing called Trek America - pretty self explanatory. Not gonna lie, it's expensive.. but hey that's what student loans are for right?! You can go from 3 - 64 days but I think 3 weeks is the max I would do. I was SO determined to do it this summer but friends money issues etc. means it's gonna have to wait until next year :( sad times!

AUSTRALIA

Again, another place I wasn't too fussed about until one day I decided - I really wanna go to Sydney! For some strange reason I LOVE flying so the 24 hour flight wouldn't bother me at all. To be honest, I'd probably quite enjoy it! The number one thing I would absolutely love to do - more than anything in the world - is climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge!!! Aparently quite a lot of people propose when they reach the top, so naturally I want that to happen to me too.. I wish ha! I know this one is way, wayy down the line because of how ridiculously expensive it is but ONE DAY, it will happen!

Do you have aspirations to travel?
Where have you always dreamed of visiting?

  1. I love travelling! Not the greatest flyer though. One place I haven't been that I'd love to go is China. Oh and I'd love to go back to Tokyo.
