Travel Supermarket Worldwide Wardrobe Competition

I've decided to enter Travel Supermarket's Worldwide Wardrobe competition to be in with the chance of winning a holiday of a lifetime to Paris, London, Thailand, New York or Ibiza. All I have to do is put together an outfit that would be best suited for the occasion if I visited these cities. The total cost of the outfit has to be £200 or less. If I win, I also win £200 to buy the outfit I have created. So here it goes!

Thailand

Topshop dress £29/Oasis sandals £25/UO ring £8/UO necklace £10/Topshop sunglasses £16/
Asos bum bag £28

TOTAL PRICE = £116

Thailand is famous for it's Full Moon party, so I've decided to go for a bright, funky outfit which is also very casual.. perfect for a night partying on the beach! I wanted to let the dress do the talking so I've kept the accessories fairly simple. The baggyness of the dress is ideal as no one wants to be partying in tight clothes in ridiculously hot weather. The bright colours on the dress are really fun and fit the occasion perfectly - just cover your face in glow paint and you're good to go! I don't know about everyone else, but bum bags are massive at my uni! They're perfect on nights out because they leave your hands completely free to dance and you don't have to worry about losing anything! I thought this fringed bum bag from ASOS really worked and added to the quirkyness of the outfit. I chose the orange sandals to co-ordinate with the dress and well, who doesn't love a bit of fringing? Personally I don't think any outfit is complete without a shed load of silver jewellery and I absolutely adore this ying yang necklace from Urban Outfitters. To finish the look off, I added a colourful pair of Topshop sunnies. Summer really is the time of year to experiment with colour, especially if you're lucky enough to go to Thailand!

Untitled #7

Oasis blazer £55/Topshop shirt £34/Topshop trousers £35/New Look loafers £18/Zara bag £26

TOTAL PRICE = £168

When I think of the French, I always think they are so effortlessly chic, especially in Paris. For some reason, I also invision my visiting there in the winter. I can just imagine strolling around Paris wearing something like this.. so cool and classy. Sticking with the monochrome trend, I've opted for a simple crisp white shirt teamed with these gorgeous trousers, both from Topshop. There's nothing I love more than an oversized boyfriend blazer style coat and I am absolutely in love with this one from Oasis at the bargain price of £55! It's quite a simple outfit so I didn't want to go to overboard on the shoes so I've just stuck with some patent black loafers from New Look. I love the idea of having a burst of colour with a monochrome outfit so I almost died when I found this bright orange bag, which I think strangely compliments the black and white. This outfit is all about the trousers and the bag - two stand out pieces that would really turn some heads. A sophisticated outfit for a sophisticated city.

London
Urban Outfitters dungaree dress £32/Topshop crop top £12/Topshop bag £35/Topshop shoes £75/
Asos necklace £14/Barry M nail varnish £4

TOTAL PRICE = £172

This outfit is exactly the type of thing I'd wear if I went to London. The Brits have this quirky style that no where else in the world has. This sort of outfit should be worn strolling through Camden Market, starbucks in one hand, Topshop bag in another. Denim dungaree dresses have Alexa Chung written all over them, a British style icon and a person who's style I have admired for years. Stripes and denim are always a winner, so I've paired the dungarees with this Topshop number. The gold necklace also works really well against the denim and the whiteness of the crop top. The black shoes are to DIE for and would be perfect teamed with some black tights... comfortable too! Gotta be comfortable when you're shopping! I love the gold buckles on the bag which would tie in with the gold in the necklace. Top it off with some black nail varnish and you're good to go! This effortless outfit is perfect for a day shopping in London.

New York

Motel Rocks dress £20/Topshop leather jacket £52/Topshop platform heels £60/Topshop lipstick £8/
Coast clutch bag £55

TOTAL PRICE = £195

I know it's really predictable but I don't think you can beat black on a night out, especially if you're sat in an elegant cocktail bar in New York. I absolutely love this dress from Motel Rocks and how it's fitted at the top but sheer and flowy at the bottom. It's sexy with the sheer material so you can see a bit of leg, but not too overpowering with too much skin on show like you'd get with a mini dress. A leather jacket is a MUST on a night out, they go with just about anything. Roll the sleeves up and the jacket gives the elegant outfit a masculine feel. Topshop platform heels, WOW! Again, they are simple but the chunky heel adds a grungy edge. Team with a vintage inspired clutch and shocking red lips and you're ready to hit the town! Simple and classy really is the way to go sometimes.

I hope you all like the way I've styled these outfits!
Wish me luck :)
