Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post, I had a lovely time in Berlin :) I'll be doing a post about it within the next week or so so keep an eye out for that!
In the meantime, I thought I'd do a bit of a clothes haul because I haven't done one in agessss. I was actually looking at some of my old posts the other day and I realised how shocking my 'Primark haul' was.. it wasn't a haul at all! I had about 3 things on it! What was I thinking? I was also laughing at how terrible my outfit posts were a few months ago when I didn't have a proper camera so I was taking all of my photos on my webcam. The quality was SO BAD, so I'm sorry to all of my old followers who had to endure that haha. Ahh well, you live and learn.
This time, I promise it's a PROPER clothes haul :) I've been meaning to do this for ages but I never got around to it so some of these 'recent buys' were actually purchased way back at the start of June. I've had some of these clothes for a couple of months now and I still haven't wore half of them, how bad is that?! I buy new clothes so often that I don't give myself the chance to wear all of them. I'm sure everyone has this problem though, right?
Primark approx £5. I bought this agessss ago. I'd wanted an off the shoulder crop top for a while but I wasn't keen on the colour at first. My mum's favourite colour is blue so she made me try it on because she said it would make my eyes 'pop'. She was right, I loved it when I tried it on! I haven't had the chance to wear it yet because I'm saving it for a night out. Although god knows when that'll be, I haven't been on a night out in so long!!!
Ebay £5.99 + £3.99 p&p I think? I bought this about a week and a half ago. I'd seen a lot of people wearing these skort's on blogger/lookbook/instagram and I just had a feeling that I could get a really cheap version of the Zara one on ebay. Thankfully I was right, there was a company selling replicas for £6! I really liked how unusual it was, it's so chic too. A lot of people are wearing the white ones but I thought the black would be more versatile. It's one of my favourite items in my wardrobe at the minute.
Standard 'I'm at the airport, ooh look an Accessorize, let's buy something' impulse buy. I didn't really need them but my mum was feeling generous so hey, who am I to turn down a free pair of earrings? I think they were around £12 and they are quite heavy so I'm assuming they're real silver? They're so ethnic-y, I love them.
Tesco approx £12 bought at the start of June. Another top I didn't really need but I can't help but buy things when they're so cheap. I thought it was really pretty and I liked the embroidery and the delicate little sleeves. It's made of cotton too so it's perfect for summer but for some reason I haven't wore it yet. I've mentioned before that I'm not a very girly dresser, so even though I like it, I'm struggling to find what it'll go with in my wardrobe. Does anyone have any ideas? It's too pretty to go to waste!
Motel £16 with 20% discount code 'myvtgworld'. I bought these ages ago when I was going through a stage of wanting some black tailored shorts to replace my hotpant ones from Topshop which aren't as flattering. These lace ones from Motel are definitely more flattering on my figure, and although they aren't anything special, they're just a basic pair of black shorts that I can wear on a night out as they go with everything. They're high waisted too so I guess they'd be pretty cool to wear at a festival. I am slightly regretting buying them though as I can't see me wearing them as much now I have my black skorts.
Topshop sale £10. I bought this ages ago too but still haven't got around to wearing it yet because I'm saving it for a night out. It's your typical 'clubbing' kind of top that I know I'll always be able to rely on if I'm struggling to find an outfit to wear on a night out. Let's be honest, you can't go wrong with a black mesh crop on a night out can you? It's a size 8 so it's really tight when it's on which is a bit different for me but I really like it. I have to unleash my inner slut once in a while, right?
I've been meaning to buy a black bag like this to go with outfits that my black fringed bag doesn't necessarily go with, but I thought I'd check with my mum first to see if she had one that I could have. She only went and got this beauty out of the garage didn't she!!! What a babe. So yeah, I didn't buy this but I thought I'd include it anyway seeing as it is new to me! It looks like it could be from Zara/Topshop/River Island but it's actually from a market stall!! I can't even express how much I love a bargain, especially things that look so expensive when they are actually really cheap! Thanks mum :)
Primark £8ish? I found this in the beachwear section of Primark, so I'm assuming it's meant to be worn over a bikini on holiday as it's pretty see through. Pffft, why stick to the rules? Throw some black shorts on underneath it and you can wear it in the daytime as a perfectly viable dress. It's nothing special.. but I like wearing simple black dresses in the summer with sandals, my slouchy fringed bag and ethnic jewellery. So to me, it was a perfect little summery dress.
Ebay £15.99 + £3.99 p&p. I've decided to sell my Primark flatforms because they're a little bit small for me, so I've been looking for another heeled alternative that I can wear in the daytime instead of sandals. I've seen loads of people in Topshop wearing these black heeled jelly shoes, but what really sold it to me was seeing 2 girls wearing them in the airport on the way to Berlin. If they're comfy enough to travel in, they're definitely a winner for me! They look really cute paired with white frilly socks too so I'm planning on wearing them with my black bag (above) and red dress when it comes back from the alternation shop. I'm still waiting for my shoes to arrive (hopefully they'll be here tomorrow) but an outfit post on that will be up as soon as they do so keep your eyes peeled!
Primark via ASOS £13. I've said before that I'm not normally keen on bright colours, especially not red, but this dress is really really pretty. With all the sunshine we've been having recently, I thought it was about time I invested in some proper summery clothes. So, I thought I'd bite the bullet and order it. After all, it's only £13? I'd rather spend £13 and never wear it again than spend £45 on a similar version and have it sitting in my wardrobe all winter. My original plan was to get my mum to separate the dress into a crop top and skirt so essentially I would be creating my own co-ords. I really want some co-ords but I can't find any that I like so I thought this would be a really cheap way to create my own. But the dress arrived and my mum said it was too pretty to cut in half and basically ruin it. Plus, there is a zip running all the way down the back of the dress so it would be physically impossible to cut through the zip. So, I've decided to keep it as a dress but it still needs some alterations. As you can probably tell from the photo, it's quite long and looks really frumpy on little old 5 ft 3 me. I also want the waist line a bit higher so we've sent it to the shop to be altered (which is why I can't photograph it) so it will come back a lot more fitted and shorter. When I was trying it on, my mum said she loved it so much she could cry. Bless her.

Phew! Told you it was gonna be a long one! I hope you like everything and if anyone has any ideas about what to wear with my white top or black lace shorts then please let me know. I always like reading your opinions on things :)
