Every time I'm in the mood to take outfit photos I seem to be wearing black and tartan... HOW BORING. My last few outfit posts aren't too dissimilar to this outfit so I apologise for that. I promise I'll mix it up a bit in the future. I have so many clothes/outfits to show you guys but this weather makes me not want to experiment at all so a lot of my favourite clothes have just been sitting in my wardrobe unloved. When it's cold and rainy I always resort back to my default clothing of black and tartan because it's just SO easy. I like outfits like this because it's chic without looking like I've tried too hard.
I rarely go out these days without wearing some kind of heel. I think when you get over the fear of wearing a heel to uni it doesn't seem like a big deal anymore. I used to be so scared of looking really over dressed in a lecture but I've gone past the point of caring now. I don't know if it's just an age thing but now I'm in third year, a lot of people on my course seem to be taking the plunge too and it's so refreshing to see people making an effort! Gone are the days when a bunch of scared first years would rock up wearing skinny jeans and converse because the LAST thing they wanted was to stand out and be noticed. It's so nice to finally see people being brave and making an effort and wearing what they want to. There's nothing I love more than people watching and seeing what other girls are wearing and getting inspiration from them!
What do you guys wear to college/uni?
Do you make an effort or do you prefer to be comfy and casual?
