I love doing outfit posts but I haven't been able to do any in ages and I'm really sad about that. Third year is calling and I've barely left the house over the xmas holidays because of essays/disso research etc. etc. Life sucks big time at the minute. But seeing as I actually left the house today I thought it was about time I took some snaps of what I wore. This is literally one of my favourite dresses ever. I wanted it for ages but wasn't prepared to pay £60 for it but I ended up getting it in the sale for around £40/£45. It's back up to full price now though for anyone wanting to buy it :( I like things that are a bit different so I was drawn to the ombre detailing straight away. I teamed it with my fluffy jumper which is uber comfy and my new gold coin necklace that I bought today. I decided that I really wanted one about 2 days ago and was lucky enough to come across one when I was browsing in Miss Selfridge.

I know a lot of people say this but I definitely prefer winter fashion over summer! A boyfriend coat, a pair of heeled boots and a plum lippy and I'm good to go. I can't help but dress like a bit of a goth and I'm not even ashamed because it seems to be perfectly acceptable at the minute. I love texture and pattern so this seasons trends of fur/leather/tartan have been a bit of a god send for me. Topshop's been on point as usual, in fact I think I should take this opportunity to personally thank them for turning me into Morticia Adams.

I'm off to Edinburgh tomorrow with my best friend for NYE so I guess I'll see you all in 2014! Have a good one guys! xxx
