ANOTHER HAUL.

I've had this post sitting in my drafts for about a week now but just needed to photograph my things before I could put it up. I've barely left the library this past month so haven't had time to go shopping at all *sobs* but I do have a few things to show you from my last shopping trip just over a month ago.

You know that mini heatwave we had at the beginning of March? Well... it was sunny... and I was feeling happy... and well, I may have accidently bought a pink coat. Oops. I never had any intentions of following the pink coat trend but when I saw this one in H&M for only £35, I thought I might as well try it on just for the laugh. I honestly thought it was going to look hideous on me so I was so shocked when I tried it on and absolutely loved it! I don't think I've ever wore this colour pink before (I'd describe it as a mix between bubblegum pink and coral) so it was a bit of a shock to the system at first! But my housemates and my mum said it was nice to see me in colour for a change as it really brightens my face up! I've not had a chance to wear it yet because the typical British weather is back to being really wet and windy and the last thing I want to be doing is walking through campus all bright and summery. Talk about sticking out like a sore thumb! But as soon as the weather picks up again I'm sure I'll feel a lot more comfortable in it! Pink seems to be everywhere this SS14 after all!

PVC. Like the pink coat, it's definitely not for the faint hearted. But I took the plunge and was actually overwhelmed by all of the compliments my housemates gave me when I wore it on a night out a few weeks ago (does anyone else get embarrassed by compliments haha?) I was shocked as I really didn't think it was everyone's cup of tea but there you go! I've not wore it since which I'm really sad about because I want to wear it with my black fluffy jumper but lets just say it's not the most comfortable skirt in the world! Definitely couldn't spend 6 hours in the library wearing it, ouch! But for shopping/nights out/meals out then I'm sure it'll be fine! It was only £17.99 from Missguided too which is a complete steal!

Literally everyone and their next door neighbour seem to be making their own DIY ripped jeans at the moment. I did mine just over a month ago after seeing Robyn wearing some in this post and heading straight to Primark to buy some cheap high-waisted skinnies for a tenner. I was contemplating buying them already ripped but... I'm not a mug. £40 for a pair of jeans? No thanks. I went a bit mental and cut a bit too much off of the bottom because they were too long so I might end up fraying them as well.

I bought these sandals AGES ago and I wear them pretty much everyday. Chunky sandals are everywhere at the moment so I thought I'd snap them up from Primark whilst I had the chance. £14 is better than £40 right? I've already seen a gazillion other pairs of sandals online that I desperately want so expect a summer sandal wishlist coming very soon. We're seriously spoilt for choice this year!

I only picked this t-shirt up from New Look because it was part of a co-ord (which I'm literally so desperate for at the minute but can't seem to find one that I like!) The skirt didn't fit but I really liked the fit of the t-shirt so I just bought it anyway. I like how the sleeves are slightly longer than a usual sleeve but not quite 3/4. Really flattering. Gingham is everywhere at the moment too so hopefully it'll be really easy to style. I think it was around £12.

Let me know what you guys think. Sorry it was a long'en!
