4 posts in 1 week, am I mad?!! My dissertation is due in in 6 days and I'm choosing to spend the most important/crucial 6 days of my life blogging. Procrastination at its best. After 2 months of non-stop writing, I am officially fed up with anything dissertation related. I'm actually surprised at how laid back I am about the whole thing to be honest. I don't think I've had a single breakdown the whole time I've been writing it which is quite an achievement in itself. Give me 3 essays to do in one month and I'm so stressed that I need to go to the doctors for bloody sleeping tablets. Give me a 15,000 word dissertation to do and I'm absolutely fine. Go figure. Saying that, I really need to get my motivation back asap. Definitely shouldn't be blogging right now but it's the only thing keeping me sane at the minute.
ANYWAY...
Monki is fast becoming one of my favourite online shops. There's just something about their clothes that I really love. They do casual/chic so well and their clothes in general are such good quality. I wanted this grey slouchy knitted jumper months ago but didn't want to pay £31 for it (why Monki's p&p is £6 I will never know). I was browsing Asos the other day and found it on their website reduced from £25 to £12.50 with a further 10% discount code for sale items. I know it seems kinda pointless now because it's almost summer but for £11.23, I could hardly say no. When I was browsing the Monki website a few months ago I also came across this long speckled grey cardigan for £46. It looked really nice on the model but I wasn't sure I could pull off a cardigan THAT long. Fast forward a few months and overly long cardigans/kimonos seem to be all the rage. I'd just bought the grey jumper but somehow couldn't stop myself from wanting the grey cardigan as well. Cunningly, I headed back to Asos in the hope that they had it in the sale. And there it was... looking all pretty on the Asos website for £18. And if you thought I couldn't get any more jammy, Asos had a further 15% discount code for sale items bringing it to £15.30!! Plus the free delivery I got on both items, I ended up getting 2 pieces of knitwear worth £78 for £17.60!! If you haven't done already, I'd really recommend checking out Asos's sale for some great bargains on loads of really great brands xxx
