Sorry I haven't posted in what seems like forever, bad blogger! I've had quite an exciting couple of weeks with my last few nights out at uni (which if anyone goes to Trent then you'll know how crazy the last ocean and last day of term was), three 21st birthdays, bbqs, cricket varsity, going out for dinner and then to top it all off it was my graduation ball at the Capital FM Arena the other night (post to follow soon). I went a bit photo crazy on Instagram so if you wanna look at any pics from the past few weeks then feel free to have a browse. I've literally had the funniest 2 weeks of my entire life (friends physically having to be carried out of the SU by 4 bouncers on each arm and leg because they refused to leave at the end of the night) but also the saddest (huddled in a circle crying to Beyonce 'Listen' and Coldplay 'Yellow' - DJ's know how to get a room full of third years crying!) Now I'm officially living back at home, I have absolutely no idea what to do with my life ha!
But enough of me rambling... this outfit is probably one of my favourites ever! The neck of the top and the sandals don't photograph well at all (don't you just hate when that happens?) but I've left the links above so you can get a better idea of what they look like. I don't normally like monochrome, I think it's a bit unimaginative and quite a safe/lazy way of dressing and completely unadventurous. Having said that, I've openly admitted in my last post that I'm feeling massively uninspired recently so I'm going to be a big fat hypocrite and play it safe all summer wearing nothing but black and white. I hate being lazy and sticking to the one palette but I just can't be bothered with summer fashion at the moment so I'd rather play it safe. The more I've been wearing monochrome the more it's grown on me, which is why I love this outfit so much. It's effortless and simple, which is exactly what I need right now with everything else that's going on in life at the moment (I get the results of my degree on Friday -eeeek!) xxx
