2 balls in 2 months, how exciting!! On 13th June it was my final year graduation ball at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham as well as my housemates 21st birthday. There were performances by Fuse ODG, Annie Mac and DJ Fresh but OH MY I can't even tell you how AH-MAZING Fuse was. I love him so so much so being second row was such a buzz and possibly the best part of the whole night! The ball finished at 2am so we all made our way to the after party at the SU which went on til 6. The aim of every third year is to make it to the end of grad ball and against all of the odds, I made it into the survivors photo (above) at 6am!! Unfortunately my heels didn't last quite as long as me and every other girl there got changed into our flats at about 1am (MY GOD THE PAIN) so we could actually make it to the end (which explains my disgusting sandals in the last photo). No all nighter is complete without a stroll through the city centre at 7am, a Spoons breakfast, a photo with the most famous statue in Notts and eventually crawling in to bed at 8am. What a night!

As always I've massively rambled but what I really want to talk about is my dress! Like the typical girl I am, I had my dress sitting patiently in my wardrobe since feb/march time. What can I say, when you find the perfect dress you just know! It was sold out almost immediately so I knew I had to get it whilst I could! I knew I wanted a long dress and I knew I wanted something very classy and sophisticated but also a bit unique. When I saw this dress on the ASOS website I fell in love straight away and had to get it despite the £150 price tag. Thankfully I found a 20% discount code online so I ended up getting it for £120. I know it's ridiculously expensive for one night but I've never really had a proper prom dress before (my year 11 prom dress was £50 from Topshop) so I thought I would treat myself. You only have one graduation ball after all, might as well make an effort!
